About Shagbark

    My name is Jay Stoltzfus, owner of Shagbark Puppies. I live on 3 acres on the outskirts of New Vienna OH, about an hour from Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus. A few things about me… I love to travel and have been on several mission trips to other countries. I love flying and hope to one day have my pilot’s license. I am especially passionate about the issue of human trafficking and being a voice for the broken and most vulnerable in our world. I believe honesty and integrity is extremely important in our society and I strive for excellence in everything that I do.
    As a young boy growing up on a farm, dogs were always a part of our family. I loved the companionship that our dogs brought to our lives and after buying my own home I knew that I wanted the companionship of a dog in my home. After raising a few litters of puppies I soon realized that I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of raising puppies and finding good homes for them and with that Shagbark Puppies was born. My goal is to share my love for man’s best friend by bringing you well socialized, happy, and healthy puppies. I want all my customers to have peace of mind, knowing that their puppy was cared for and loved to the best of my ability and I expect that care to continue as they take home their new furry friend.
